Where is Hurricane Milton Going To Hit?
The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane warning for the Gulf Coast from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Panama City, Florida.
Hurricane Milton is a Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph. The storm is moving northwest at 10 mph and is expected to make landfall along the Gulf Coast on Wednesday night.
The hurricane is expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and storm surge to the Gulf Coast. Residents in the affected areas should be prepared to evacuate if necessary.
The National Hurricane Center is urging residents in the affected areas to take the following precautions:
- Monitor the storm's progress and follow the instructions of local officials.
- Secure loose objects around your home and yard.
- Fill your gas tank and have a supply of food and water on hand.
