Gilani Wazir: German embassy urged to expedite visa
Pakistan's top female mountaineer Gilani Gilani Wazir is planning to travel to Munich, Germany, on 23rd, February to take part in an international mountaineering summit, however her visa process is still pending.
The lack of visa has caused frustration and disappointment for Wazir, who fears missing out on the opportunity to represent her country at the event.
Wazir has appealed to the German Embassy in Islamabad to expedite the visa process to ensure her participation in the summit.
"I am very disappointed because I have been waiting for my visa for weeks, but it's still pending," Wazir told The News. "I have been following up with the embassy, and I am hoping that my visa will be issued soon."
